Georgina Gunstone's Visit To America, Queen Elizabeth Ship’s Manifest 21 Oct 1946

This was an exciting find! I had a copy of this ship's manifest that Tina had found years ago. I found it in my files a few days ago. It wasn't very clear, but I thought the date of arrival was Oct 21, 1946.  I sent it to my mom, and she said it the year was 1948. She was a little over a year old and Aunt Sue (her sister Suzzanne) was born that August. She has a picture of the visit. I'll see if I can snap a shot of it at Easter.

Later, I manually input the basic information in Georgina's profile in FamilySearch. When I went back today and clicked to edit the information, I was able to bring up a much clearer copy, and attach it to her profile. I can't remember how it happened, but I'm happy it did!

Mom was born in Lynn, and this was the same address for the family in the 1950 U.S. Census Report.
